Bad Reichenhall
Spa town Bad Reichenhall is located in the picturesque alpine valley between mountain ridges covered with pines rocks. The city is about 20 km from our guesthouse. You can go to Bad Reichenhall also by bus.
The most famous fountain is situated in the spa park. The fountain is called - Atlas-Sole Brunnen. He glorified not only due his healing water but also for its properties of natural inhaler. Especially for medical procedures around the fountain there are chaise longues. Here come people suffering from allergies, asthma and other respiratory diseases.

Mozart Week

It is located in the courtyard of the confectionery factory «Reber». The factory produced candies «Mozartkugel». Many things connects Bad Reichenhall and Mozart - 15 km away is Salzburg, the birthplace of the composer. Each year, in March, in Bad Reichenhall are held the music festivals - "Mozart Week".

Café Reber (Mozart balls)
OVER 150 YEARS OF TRADITIONAL CONFECTIONARY
The master confectioner, Peter Reber, opened the first Reber confectionary and patisserie café in Munich in 1865. He soon made a name for himself with his homemade treats and his café became a much-loved meeting place for the inhabitants of Munich.
In 1938, the Reber family moved their main café into the centre of Bad Reichenhall, where the company’s head office is located today. A great deal has changed since its foundation, although the company is owned by the family’s fifth generation, the traditional recipes are still carefully guarded and the café culture is still lovingly celebrated here. Around 200,000 guests visit Café Reber in Bad Reichenhall and the two stores in Salzburg each year to enjoy the exquisite confectionary in a unique setting.

The RupertusTherme in Bad Reichenhall offers an extensive pool area featuring saltwater from the Alps! Predigtstuhl Cable Car
Take a ride in the oldest, large cabin cable car in the world still in its original condition. Built in 1928, this piece of nostalgia is right out of the past. Technically perfect in form, guests are pleasantly transported in approx. 8 minutes up to the top of Predigstuhl Mountain at an elevation of 1,583m / 5,200ft).
Admire the spectacular scenery en route as you sail up to the peak. Hiking trails which begin from the top will give you the opportunity of continuing on foot to the surrounding peaks or back to Berchtesgaden if you prefer. Great fun for the whole family!
The old saltworks
4000 years of salt history in one of the oldest museums in the world - Alte Saline. There are still mined and produced Germany's well known Bad Reichenhaller salt.
In the salt shop you can buy the health and beauty products with local therapeutic salt.
Old saltworks Alte Saline is located in a picturesque place, at the medieval fortress Gruttenshtayn (Burg Gruttenstein) in the historic center of Bad Reichenhall. Built in 1834 by King Ludwig I, saltworks was an outstanding industrial building of its time.
Now at the Museum of salt during excursions the visitors, interested in the history and technology of the salt produсtion, can get a lot of useful and interesting information.
