Sledding
In the region Berchtesgaden and Konigssee there are many toboggan run. It seemed to be children's entertainment - tobogganing from a a hill, but the hill is only a couple of kilometers in height and slope turns into an exciting adventure. Please note that the toboggan sometimes are given directly on the mountain, but sometimes you have to bring hired yours.
Toboggan run is known worldwide as a winter kind of entertainment. But not in the Berchtesgaden. Here in the summer you can also slide from the Alpine mountains.
Winter toboggan run
The nearest to our guest house toboggan run Hirscheckblitz (Rodelbahn Hirscheckblitz). This route was opened in 2012. The length is 2.3 km, in 2012 the Hirscheckblitz won in the competition test conducted by ADAC. The route is about 7-minute driving from our guest house.
Chairlift Hirshek takes you to an altitude of 1390 m. The route is regularly cleaned and leveled by a snowcat. And what is important, the route does not intersect with the ski slopes and footpaths, making it comfortable to visit with whole family.
Summer toboggan run
Sledding is known worldwide as a winter kind of entertainment. But not in Berchtesgaden. Here also in the summer you can enjoy yourself to go tobogganing from the Alpine mountains.
Tobogganing is world-class, especially in the wintry Berchtesgadener Land. But in summer you don't have to do without the fast-paced pleasure! On the Obersalzberg (www.obersalzbergbahn.de), flat summer sledges go through the 600 m long metal channel. It is 100 m from the mountain station and you can set the pace yourself as a couple or alone on the toboggan - great fun for the whole family! The fully automatic elevator brings you back to the start on your sledge with a wonderful view over a mountain meadow.
