7 km from our guesthouse is located the ancient town Berchtesgaden, the capital of the region Berchtesgaden. For the first time it mentioned in 1102 as a Roman settlement. Thanks to mountains salt Berchtesgadener began to grow rapidly and expand. Later the Pope Pascal II confirmed the foundation of monastery here and took him under his protection.

Spa town Bad Reichenhall is located in the picturesque alpine valley between mountain ridges covered with pines rocks. The city is about 20 km from our guesthouse. You can go to Bad Reichenhall also by bus.

The most famous fountain is situated in the spa park. The fountain is called - Atlas-Sole Brunnen. He glorified not only due his healing water but also for its properties of natural inhaler. Especially for medical procedures around the fountain there are chaise longues. Here come people suffering from allergies, asthma and other respiratory diseases.

Schönau am Königsee is a municipality in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in the German state of Bavaria. It is located at the northern end of the Königssee lake. The present-day commune was formed in 1978 by the merger of the former Schönau and Königssee municipalities.

Due to its picturesque setting Schönau largely depends on tourism.

The municipality Ramsau, in which our pension is located, ideally embedded in a picturesque landscape between mountains, beautiful forest and Hintersee.
It is located on the Königssee in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria, close to the border with Austria, 35 km south of Salzburg and 150 km south-east of Munich. It is situated north of the Berchtesgaden National Park.
Ramsau is famous for its high mountains, including the third highest mountain in Germany, the fabled Mount Watzmann (2713 m), and for the Lake Hintersee.

The enchanting silhouette of the Fortress, Cathedral and church steeples in this baroque city north of the Alps. So beautiful that it is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site. So famous that its attractions are among the most famous in the world. You should visit Hangar-7 Red Bull (a collection of historic aircraft and Formula 1 racing cars). If you come in the winter, do not miss the Krampus procession. For shoppers not far from Salzburg Airport is a designer outlet center McArthurGlen.
