Thanks to mountains salt Berchtesgadener began to grow rapidly and expand. Later the Pope Pascal II confirmed the foundation of monastery here and took him under his protection.

Bad Reichenhall

Spa town Bad Reichenhall is located in the picturesque alpine valley between mountain ridges covered with pines rocks. The city is about 20 km from our guesthouse. You can go to Bad Reichenhall also by bus.

The most famous fountain is situated in the spa park. The fountain is called - Atlas-Sole Brunnen. He glorified not only due his healing water but also for its properties of natural inhaler. Especially for medical procedures around the fountain there are chaise longues. Here come people suffering from allergies, asthma and other respiratory diseases.

It is located on the Königssee in the district of Berchtesgadener Land in Bavaria, close to the border with Austria, 35 km south of Salzburg and 150 km south-east of Munich. It is situated north of the Berchtesgaden National Park.
Ramsau is famous for its high mountains, including the third highest mountain in Germany, the fabled Mount Watzmann (2713 m), and for the Lake Hintersee.
