Wondrous forest whispers – the language of trees and herbs

Time journey through nine centuries
A city tour with exciting insights into the history of Berchtesgaden.
Dates: all year round every Thursday 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. and by arrangement.
If the corona rules permit, the tour will also be carried out with only 1 or 2 guests.
The first monks arrived here over 900 years ago and founded a monastery that shaped the further development over the centuries. The entertaining, lively tour offers many anecdotes, for example about facades that monkeys romp about, about prisons without doors and about how Hitler’s car changed Berchtesgaden.

Market day ‘local & fair’ in Ramsau!
Also in December the association ‘Ramsau Regional’ organizes a market day in Ramsau with its brand ‘heimisch & fair’!
When: Thursday 17th December 2020
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: in front of the sacristan’s house / parish church of St. Sebastian
‘Heimat & fair’ is also represented again at the Berchtesgaden farmers’ market.
On Friday, December 18th, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Perfect for last-minute Christmas gifts! ‘heimisch & fair’ also sells gift baskets (can be ordered in advance).
